I’m an Australian, who lives on both sides of the Pacific. 

My life is a non-linear path to pursue what brings me alive. Short-term failures have always turned out to be long-term blessings. Boyhood dreams of representing Australia in rugby dashed due to injury freed me to surf, run and play with my kids pain-free today. Landing a dream job out of college, only to realise I hated the person I would become if I was to continue led me to build my own companies. Founding a quant fund in my early twenties that was intellectually and financially rewarding but added zero value to the world opened my eyes to angel investing in companies making a positive dent in the world. Disappointment and failure have been essential ingredients in finding what I am called to. I no longer play rugby or move numbers around on screens. Today, I’m fully committed to building future abundance at scale. 

I’m beyond fortunate to be married to Leanne, the embodiment of love and generosity. All that matters in my life spawns from our lifelong partnership. Leanne and I have been gifted two children. Frankie, our lifelong teacher, inspiration and rainbow spirit bird whose presence and absence continues to teach us more than we will ever understand; and Beau, our hyper-competitive and energetic storm boy, who shares his big sister's innate connection and care for all creatures great and small. 

The grief of losing a child has stripped Leanne and I bare and enlightened us to the rich paradoxical qualities of life. Freedom from shoulds, coulds and wants allows presence, awe, and wonder to emerge. It is difficult to express this way of being in words. We know it. We feel it. I have become allergic to the mundane or trivial. As such, my energy is oriented towards the ideas, people and experiences that bring me fully alive. 

My life’s work is ReGen Ventures. We partner with founders building a future of abundance by reimagining the world from the atom up. If it isn't mind-blowingly better than the status quo and built for cosmic scale, it’s not worth the time. I’m obsessed with the potential for these technologies to enhance and enrich life for generations to come.
